Amelia Watkin-Ward

Physiotherapist & Pilates instructor

Pilates Instructor

Amelia graduated with a BHSc in Physiotherapy from Auckland University of Technology. Her passion for physiotherapy came from her own dancing related injuries and then going on to dance teaching where she was able to see the impact that could be made from injury related rehabilitation.

Throughout her training at AUT, Amelia gained experience in a range of musculoskeletal settings, including completing an exchange placement to James Cook University in Australia. She also had hospital experience in an acute neurological ward.

Amelia enjoys working with people from a range of backgrounds, helping them to get back to their full potential and returning to what they love to do. She has a particular interest in dancers and sports related injuries, having grown up dancing herself. Amelia is excited to integrate her skills and knowledge from this background with physiotherapy and Pilates.

In her spare time, Amelia enjoys travelling and exploring new places, spending time with family and friends, and dancing or teaching at a local dance school.
