Electrotherapy

Ultrasound
This involves using high frequency sound waves to treat injuries to muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues. Ultrasound stimulates blood circulation and cell activity, accelerating the healing process and providing pain relief.

Interferential
This type of stimulation is characterised by the crossing of two electrical medium frequency alternating currents, which are slightly off phase. This passes through the tissue, which helps to reduce pain and release endorphins, thereby increasing circulation and mild muscle contraction.
