If the answer is "yes" to any of these questions, Pilates could help you. However, Pilates does have its limitations. It does not contribute to cardiovascular fitness or resting heart rate. Pilates is not primarily a weight loss programme but, when done in conjunction with a sensible diet, it can assist with weight loss.
