BRANCH MANAGER, SENIOR PHYSIO & PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Rachel graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Anatomy and Structural Biology, and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2006. She worked for 9 years as a physiotherapist at a private practice in Wellington before moving to Auckland. Rachel has completed a number of courses in manual therapy, taping, dry needling, and she began her Pilates training in 2011. Through playing Korfball at an international level, as well as playing a high level of football and netball herself, Rachel is all too familiar with injury. She has found the combination of hands-on physiotherapy and Pilates to be the most effective for rehabilitation and prevention of further injuries. She has a passion for returning people to their pre-injury level of function, and firmly believes that patient education and body awareness plays a big role in this. Outside of work Rachel likes spending time outdoors and especially enjoys running, paddle boarding and mountain biking.
