Pilates Instructor


Katie has more than a decade’s teaching experience across a range of fitness classes and activities. She started teaching Pilates in 2006, and has found it effective as a supplementary training activity, and for injury prevention and rehabilitation, both for athletes competing nationally and internationally (in a variety of sports including rugby, ice hockey, figure ice skating, rowing, and ballet), and anyone seeking to enhance their health and wellbeing through effective exercise. She holds a degree in Physical Education from Otago University, specialising in exercise prescription and exercise psychology, and is currently studying physiotherapy at AUT.
