Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor

Courtney-Jane is a Physiotherapist, qualifying with a First Class Honours degree from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, she is also a trained Pilates instructor. She has a great interest for sport, previously working with the Scotland Sevens Rugby team as a sports massage therapist. She has a strong desire towards health and fitness; hobbies include strength training at the gym alongside a variety of fitness classes. Her passion for Physiotherapy started at a young age, after her own ankle injuries led to rehabilitation work. This led to the interest of Musculoskeletal work, in order to help individuals recover and progress greatly. Since then, Courtney has built up a great exposure to a range of Physiotherapy areas, from Neurorehabilitation to Women’s Health.
One of Courtney’s main passion is to work with children in the Paediatric sector. Courtney chose to complete an Elective Placement during University at a Paediatric hospital in Edinburgh. Here, she was able to work in the musculoskeletal outpatient department, combining her two main interests, treating a variety of injuries, the majority sports related. Courtney is excited to use these skills in New Zealand, rehabbing each client to their full potential.
